Booksy alternative: Slotsy vs Booksy, prices and features

People look for a Booksy alternative usually for one of three reasons: the subscription of 145 zł net plus 35 zł per person, Boost, which takes 45% of a new client's first visit, or the feeling that your clients are Booksy's clients rather than yours. Each of these reasons is real. But before you move the salon, it is worth knowing just as precisely what Booksy does better, because it does.

This page puts Booksy and Slotsy side by side on the same numbers, with the same check date, and says plainly who each option makes sense for. It is not a list where we win every row; such a list would not survive a comparison with Booksy's price list, which you have open in the next tab.

We checked the prices on 27 September 2026 in the Booksy Biz price list, Stripe's pricing for Poland and our own pricing; the euro rate is 4.3750 zł per the NBP of 25.09.2026. Slotsy's features are as in the help centre, Booksy's as in its price list and help centre.

In short. Booksy: 145 zł net a month (178.35 zł with VAT) for the first person, 35 zł net for each further one up to the ninth, payments at 1.89% + 0.49 zł, Boost at 45% of a new client's first visit, a marketplace where clients in Poland have looked for salons for years, an app, native buttons in Google and on Instagram, a client's card held against no-shows. Slotsy: 0 zł for one person up to 40 bookings a month, 29 € (about 127 zł) for up to five people, 69 € for up to ten, money in your own Stripe (1.5% + 1 zł for a card, 1.6% + 1 zł for BLIK) plus 2/1/0.5/0.3% by plan, no fee on new clients from the catalogue, a booking page in Polish, Ukrainian and English, booking without an account. Booksy is cheaper on payment fees; Slotsy on the subscription. Boost and the marketplace are the main variable.

Prices side by side

Two conclusions worth reading twice. On online payment fees Booksy is cheaper by about a złoty per transaction on a 100 zł bill. On the subscription Slotsy is cheaper at every team size, from 0 zł for one person to 433 zł for twenty, where Booksy counts 145 + 8 × 35 = 425 zł net, that is 523 zł with VAT.

Three salons, one month

With three people and half the turnover online the two bills come out almost the same; Boost decides. If Booksy brings you a few new clients a month, you pay hundreds of złoty for them, and that can be worth its price. If new clients come from Instagram and referrals, you are paying for a marketplace you do not use.

Where Booksy has more

Honestly and specifically, as of 27.09.2026:

• A marketplace with clients. In Poland Booksy is where people look for a hairdresser or a manicure. Our city catalogue is free and needs no client account, but it is younger and has none of that recognition.
• Native "Book" buttons in Google and on Instagram. Booksy is a Reserve with Google and Meta partner; the client books without leaving the map or the app. From Slotsy a link leads to Google and Instagram, one tap more.
• No-show protection with a card. Booksy can store a client's card and charge it after a no-show. Slotsy stores no cards: you have cancellation rules with recorded consent and full prepayment, and settle the rest by hand.
• Time passes, packages, gift cards. Slotsy has one type: a pack of visits with a validity period.
• An app in the store and a Tap to Pay terminal. Slotsy has no app in the App Store or Google Play: you install the panel on the phone's home screen from the browser, and for every new booking you and the staff member booked get a push notification, even with the panel closed. In-salon payments you take as before, with no part for us.
• A lower online payment fee. 1.89% + 0.49 zł is less than Stripe plus our fee.

Where Slotsy has more

• 0 zł for one person, with no end date and every feature; a lower subscription at every team size.
• Money in your own Stripe, not in a platform account: you see every transaction, payouts every 3 business days, Slotsy's fee taken at once and shown separately. Stripe Connect.
• No fee on new clients, today and in the Terms.
• Three languages for the client and for you: Polish, Ukrainian, English, on the booking page, in confirmations, reminders and the panel. For a salon with Ukrainian clients this is a difference no add-on buys.
• Booking without an account: the client picks a time and gives first name, last name, phone and email; a Booksy account needs registration with an SMS code. We counted it screen by screen.
• A link and QR code to a specific service and a specific person, with UTM parameters and analytics of where bookings came from. Share your booking page.

Who Booksy is for, who Slotsy is for

Stay with Booksy if most of your new clients come from its marketplace, if the button in Google Maps and on Instagram is decisive for you, if you sell time passes and vouchers, or if you fight no-shows by charging a stored card. The subscription is then the price of a sales channel, not of software.

Move to Slotsy if clients come from Instagram, referrals and Google rather than the Booksy app; if you work alone or in a small team and 178 zł a month is a noticeable line; if you want the money in your own Stripe account; if your clients write in Ukrainian. How to move from Booksy without losing clients

Nothing has to be switched off on day one. For a few weeks both systems work side by side.

1. A Free account and working hours; services named as in Booksy, with the same prices and durations. First Steps.
2. Clients from a file. Export the client list from Booksy to CSV and upload it in the Slotsy setup assistant: name, phone, email. Visit history and reviews from Booksy do not move. Setup assistant.
3. Staff with their own schedules, if there are more of you; each person gets their own link and QR code.
4. The booking link in your Instagram bio and in your Google Business Profile, as your own booking link, next to or instead of the Booksy button. Google Business Profile.
5. One message to your regulars with the new link and a sentence that booking through Booksy still works. The template is in the Instagram article.
6. After two weeks, count how many bookings came through Slotsy and how many through Booksy. Numbers, not impressions, say whether Booksy is a sales channel for you or only a cost.
7. Cancel Booksy at the end of the billing period, once the numbers are clear. Check the notice period in the contract and the Booksy Pay terms after the 12 free months.

Frequently asked questions

Is Slotsy free? For one person, yes: the Free plan with no end date, 40 bookings a month, every feature, a 2% fee only on online payments. A team of up to five is 29 € a month.

Can I move my clients from Booksy? The client list, yes, from a CSV file. Visit history, reviews and your position in the Booksy marketplace, no.

Do clients have to create a Slotsy account? No. They book from the link with no account and no password; the confirmation and a link to reschedule come by email.

What does an online payment really cost in Slotsy? Stripe 1.5% + 1 zł for a card or 1.6% + 1 zł for BLIK, plus Slotsy's fee by plan. On 100 zł on the Start plan that is 3.50 zł; in Booksy 2.38 zł. Fees are not returned on refunds, in either system.

Can I use both at once? Yes. Many salons keep Booksy for marketplace clients and Slotsy for their own during the first weeks. The calendars do not sync with each other: you enter times in both or set aside separate hours.

Does Slotsy have an app? Not in the store. You install the panel on the phone's home screen from the browser (iPhone: Share → Add to Home Screen; Android: Chrome) and get push notifications about new bookings, you and every staff member on their own phone. Notifications.

What about Boost if I leave Booksy? Clients Boost has already brought are your clients; the fee was one-off, on the first visit. There will be no new ones from the Booksy marketplace, and that has to be counted before deciding.
