The Max Bookings per Slot setting allows multiple customers to book the same time slot for a single service. This is essential for group activities like classes, workshops, and sessions.
How It Works
By default, every service has a max bookings value of 1 — meaning one customer per time slot (a typical 1-on-1 appointment). When you increase this number, multiple customers can book the same slot until the limit is reached.
Example:

Use Cases
This feature is designed for group and shared services:
- Yoga / Pilates classes — 10–20 participants per session
- Group fitness (HIIT, Spinning) — 15–30 spots per class
- Workshops — 5–10 attendees per workshop
- Cooking classes — 6–12 participants
- Webinars / Online sessions — 50+ spots
Tip: For services where each client gets individual attention (haircuts, massages, consultations), keep the default value of 1.
Setting Max Bookings
- Go to Services and open the service
- Navigate to the Settings tab
- Find Max bookings per slot
- Enter the desired number
- Click Save
The change takes effect immediately for all future time slots.
How It Affects Availability
The booking page shows available slots based on remaining capacity:

When a slot reaches its maximum, it disappears from the available times on the booking page. Customers only see slots that still have capacity.

Changing the Limit
You can increase or decrease the max bookings value at any time:
- Increasing — new spots become available immediately for future slots
- Decreasing — existing bookings are not affected; only future availability changes
Tip: If you lower the limit below the number of existing bookings for a slot, those bookings remain valid. The slot simply won't accept new bookings until the count drops below the new limit.
What Customers See
Remaining capacity is shown everywhere a customer picks a time:

A booking of a different service at the same time still takes the slot entirely — one staff member cannot run two sessions at once.
