Payment Status

How to check and understand the status of your payment on Slotsy.

Payment Statuses

After making a payment, it can have one of the following statuses:

StatusDescription
PaidPayment was successful. Your booking is confirmed.
Awaiting paymentThe slot is held for you for 15 minutes while you pay.
PendingPayment is being processed. This usually resolves within a few minutes.
FailedPayment was not completed. Your booking is not confirmed.
RefundedPayment was returned to your account after cancellation.

Paid

This is the expected status after a successful transaction. Your booking is confirmed and no further action is needed.

Awaiting Payment

When you reach the payment screen, the time slot is held for you for 15 minutes. Nobody else can take it during that time.

If you close the page or the payment is never completed, the hold ends and the slot goes back on sale. Nothing is charged and no booking remains — simply book again if you still want that time.

You will not receive a confirmation email at this stage. The confirmation arrives once the payment goes through, and it is the signal that the booking is really yours.

Tip: If your bank asks for extra confirmation (3-D Secure), finish it promptly. Taking longer than 15 minutes may release the slot.

Pending

A pending payment means the transaction is still being processed. This can happen with:

  • Bank transfers (e.g., Przelewy24)
  • Slow network connections
  • Additional verification by your bank

Tip: Most pending payments resolve within a few minutes. If the status doesn't change within an hour, try checking your bank app or contact the company.

Failed

If your payment fails, your booking is not confirmed. Common reasons:

  • Insufficient funds — check your account balance
  • Card declined — your bank may have blocked the transaction
  • Expired card — update your payment method
  • Network error — temporary connection issue

What to Do

  1. Check the error message for details
  2. Try again with the same or a different payment method
  3. If the problem persists, contact your bank
  4. You can also reach out to the company to arrange alternative payment

Refunded

A refunded status means the company has returned your payment. This typically happens after:

  • You cancelled a prepaid booking within the free cancellation window
  • The company cancelled the booking
  • A service could not be provided

Refunds usually take 5-10 business days to appear on your statement.

When the whole amount is returned, the booking is cancelled automatically and you receive a cancellation email — the time goes back on sale for someone else. A partial refund leaves your booking in place: the class still happens, you have simply been charged less for it.

Checking Payment Status

You can check your payment status in several ways:

  • My Bookings — open the booking details to see payment information
  • Confirmation email — sent once payment succeeds, with the booking details
  • Payment confirmation email — a separate email may be sent for the payment

Contacting the Company

If you have payment questions or issues:

  • Find the company's contact details on their booking page
  • Reference your booking number and transaction ID when reaching out
  • The company can check the payment status on their end and help resolve issues

Tip: Always keep your confirmation email — it contains the booking number and transaction details you'll need if there's an issue.
