First Steps

Welcome to Slotsy! Here's how to find a company, browse services, and make your first booking.

1. Find a Company

You can access a company's booking page in several ways:

  • Direct link — the company shares their booking URL with you
  • QR code — scan a QR code at the company's location
  • Marketplace — browse the Slotsy directory to discover businesses near you

2. Browse Services

On the company page, you'll see their available services:

  • Service name — what the company offers
  • Duration — how long the service takes
  • Price — cost of the service
  • Description — additional details

You can filter services by tags/categories if the company has organized them.

3. Make Your First Booking

Step 1: Select a Service

Click Book Now on the service you want, or click the Book button in the navigation.

Step 2: Choose a Staff Member (optional)

If the company has multiple staff members, you can select your preferred provider. Some companies skip this step (solo businesses).

Step 3: Pick a Date & Time

  1. Select a date from the calendar
  2. Choose an available time slot
  3. Available slots are shown in your local timezone

Tip: Green slots are available, gray slots are taken.

Step 4: Enter Your Details

Fill in your contact information:

  • Name — your full name
  • Phone — contact number (with country code)
  • Email — for booking confirmation
  • Notes — any special requests (optional)

Step 5: Confirm & Pay

Review your booking details:

  • Service, date, time, and price
  • If payment is required, choose your payment method
  • Click Confirm Booking

You'll receive a confirmation with all the details.

4. Create an Account (Optional)

Creating an account lets you:

  • View all your bookings in one place
  • Rebook past services quickly
  • Track your memberships
  • Save favorite companies

You can register using:

  • Email & password
  • Phone number (SMS verification)
  • Magic link (email link)
  • Social login (Google, Facebook)

5. Manage Your Bookings

After booking, you can:

  • View your booking status in My Bookings
  • Cancel bookings (if allowed by the company)
  • See upcoming and past appointments
