Deposit at Booking

For an expensive or long service you can take a deposit at booking instead of the full price: a percentage or a fixed amount. The client pays the rest at the studio. The deposit goes to your Stripe like any online payment, by the same methods: card, BLIK, Przelewy24. It works the same on your booking page and in the booking widget on your website.
Online payment must be connected (Stripe Connect).
Turn it on for a service
Services → ⋮ → Edit → section "Payment" → Deposit online.

The form will not save a deposit equal to or above the price, or a percentage with a fraction.
What the client sees
"Deposit €30 now · The rest, €70, at the studio" and, if you allowed it, "Pay all €100 now". Before paying a deposit the client ticks a box with the terms. This box cannot be switched off in the settings. The consent is stored with its text, date and IP. Slotsy writes the terms from your data: the amount now, the amount at the studio, your minimum cancellation time, refunds, no-show.
In the booking
The booking shows Deposit paid online: X and Due at the studio: Y. When the client has paid the rest, click Rest received. Slotsy keeps no client debt and never charges the rest online.
Cancellation and no-show

Slotsy never keeps a deposit automatically, only after your action.
Commission
The platform commission of your plan and the Stripe fee are taken only from what was paid online. From a €30 deposit, the commission is from €30; the rest paid at the studio has no commission.
A pass that covers the service pays for the booking in full. A deposit is not combined with it.
Tip: When you may keep a deposit depends on your country's law. In Poland the amount you may keep on a no-show is a zadatek (art. 394 of the Civil Code); a zaliczka is always returned. Check the wording of your own rules with a lawyer.
