Moving a Booking

Updated September 22, 2026

A client asks to come at another time. The reschedule dialog shows when you are actually free, so you are not guessing against your own schedule.

How to move a booking

  1. Bookings → Calendar (or the bookings list)
  2. Click the booking
  3. Click Reschedule
  4. Pick a day from the strip, then a time from the grid
  5. Click Reschedule

The client keeps the same service, the same length and the same staff member. Leave Notify customer by email ticked and they are told about the new time.

What the dialog shows

DaysThe next two weeks. Days you are closed, or the staff member is away, cannot be picked — hover one to see why
TimesOnly hours that are free: inside your opening hours, inside the service's own schedule, and not already taken
The booking's own hourStays on offer, so "same time, next week" is one click

Use ‹ and › to look further ahead. You cannot look back past today.

Tip: A day that is open but shows nothing is fully booked for that staff member. Try the next one, or free up a slot first.

Fitting someone in outside your hours

Click Set another time and type a date and time yourself. This is for exceptions — a favour after closing, a client who can only come at seven. The time you type is not checked against your opening hours, the service schedule or time off.

When a booking cannot be moved

The dialog says so instead of showing times:

MessageWhat it means
A cancelled booking cannot be movedCreate a new booking instead

You can move a booking at any notice, including one starting within the hour — the 24-hour rule applies to customers moving their own bookings, not to you. The one thing nobody can do is move a booking into the past.
