Everything you need to know about paying for your bookings on Slotsy.

When Is Payment Required?

Whether you need to pay online depends on the company's settings:

  • Prepayment required — you must pay during booking to confirm your appointment
  • Pay at venue — no online payment needed; you pay when you arrive
  • Optional prepayment — you can choose to pay online or at the venue

The payment step appears automatically during the booking flow if the company requires it.

Payment Methods

Available payment methods depend on the company and their payment provider. Common options include:

  • Credit/debit card — Visa, Mastercard
  • BLIK — popular in Poland
  • Przelewy24 — Polish bank transfers
  • PayPal — if supported by the company
  • Google Pay / Apple Pay — for quick mobile payments

Tip: You can see which payment methods a company accepts on their booking page before you start.

How Payment Works

  1. Complete the booking flow (select service, staff, date, time)
  2. On the confirmation step, click Confirm & Pay
  3. You are redirected to the payment provider (e.g., Stripe, LiqPay)
  4. Enter your payment details and complete the transaction
  5. You are returned to Slotsy with your booking confirmation

The entire process takes just a few seconds.

Pay at the Venue

If the company allows it, you can skip online payment and pay in person when you arrive. In this case:

  • Your booking is confirmed without payment
  • You settle the bill directly with the company
  • Accepted methods at the venue depend on the business (cash, card, etc.)

Receipt & Confirmation

After a successful payment:

  • A payment confirmation appears on the booking screen
  • You receive a confirmation email with payment details
  • The receipt includes: amount paid, payment method, and transaction ID

Refund Policy

Refund policies are set by each company individually. Common approaches:

  • Full refund if cancelled within the free cancellation window
  • Partial refund for late cancellations
  • No refund for no-shows or very late cancellations

Check the company's cancellation policy before booking if you're unsure. Whatever the policy, Slotsy never stores your card and never charges it after the fact: a prepayment is taken once, at booking, and any refund comes back to the same payment method.
