My time off
Updated October 12, 2026
Staff members and receptionists enter their own time off on the My time off page. It takes effect at once — clients cannot book you then — and the studio is told. Nobody has to approve it.
Where to find it
My time off is in the side menu when you sign in with the Staff or Receptionist role. You see and change only your own time off; other people's schedules and the Schedules menu stay closed to you.
The owner, administrators and managers do not have this page: they enter anyone's time off, their own included, in Staff Schedules.
Adding time off
- Open My time off
- Click Add Time Off
- Choose the Start Date and End Date
- Choose the Type: Vacation, Sick leave, Personal, Training or Other
- For whole days leave Full day on. For a few hours, switch it off and set Hours, for example 14:00–16:00
- Add a note in Reason (optional) if you like
- Click Save
You see Time off added successfully, and the time off appears in the list.
| Time off | What clients see |
|---|---|
| Full day | You are not offered on those dates on the booking page and in the widget |
| Part of a day | Only those hours are removed; the rest of your day stays bookable |
Hours of a part-day time off apply to the start date. Time off cannot start in the past. To change one, delete it with the bin icon and add it again.
If you already have bookings then
When clients are already booked in that time, a window N bookings are in this time opens before saving. It lists each booking with time and client; a row opens that day in the calendar in a new tab.
If your role cannot cancel bookings, the window has only Save and keep the bookings and says: Only the owner, an administrator or a manager can cancel bookings. Save keeps them, and the studio will decide. Your time off is saved, the bookings stay, and the studio moves or cancels them.
Tip: Enter time off as early as you know about it. From that moment no new client can book you then, so there is less to move.
What the studio receives
The owner, every administrator and every manager get a notification in the bell and as a push:
| Language | Title | Text, for example |
|---|---|---|
| English | Time off: your name | 20.10. 1 booking stays in this time — move or cancel it. |
When no bookings fall in that time, the text says No bookings in this time. You do not get a notification about your own time off. The studio can also delete your time off if it does not fit the schedule.
