Booking widget on your website
Updated October 12, 2026
The widget puts your booking form on your own website: the client picks a service, a day and a time and books without going to Slotsy. It is set up in Settings → Booking Widget, which owners and admins can open.
Turn it on
Switch on Enable Widget and click Save Changes at the bottom — nothing on the page applies until you save. With the widget on, Widget URL shows the widget's own address; the icon next to it opens it in a new tab. While the widget is off, the code on your site shows "Online booking widget is currently disabled".
Settings
| Block | Setting | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Appearance | Primary Color | Colour of the header and buttons; a palette, a colour picker or a hex code |
| Appearance | Theme | Light or Dark; Auto currently looks the same as Light |
| Appearance | Show "Powered by" badge | A small Slotsy line at the bottom of the widget |
| Appearance | Button Text, Button Position | For the Floating Button mode: Bottom Right or Bottom Left. The button itself is a round calendar icon; the text is read out by screen readers, it is not printed on the button |
| Content Filter | Services | All services, or Select specific... to show only the ticked ones |
| Content Filter | Default Language | Українська, English or Polski; it goes into the code, so after changing it copy the code again |
| Allowed Domains | list of sites | Leave it empty. The list is checked against the address the widget runs from (slotsy.io), not your site, so a filled list stops the last step, the booking itself |
Show company logo and the Staff filter are on the page too, but the widget does not follow them yet: the logo from your company settings is shown whenever you have one, and the time step lists every staff member free that day.
Colour and theme are read from the saved settings each time the widget opens. The language and the floating button's colour are written into the code.
Get the code
In Embed Code, choose What to embed: Booking Widget, or one of your studio pages (Home, Schedule, Services, Prices and others) — a page comes as an <iframe> 600 px high. For the widget pick an Embed Mode:
| Mode | What the client sees |
|---|---|
| Popup | Your button; the form opens in a window over the page. Escape or a click outside closes it |
| Floating Button | A round button in the corner of every page that carries the code |
| Inline | The form inside the page itself |
Click Copy and paste the code where your site builder accepts HTML (an "HTML" or "Embed code" block). The code loads https://slotsy.io/widget/widget.js; your site needs nothing else. In Popup mode the code includes a button with the words "Book Now" — change them in the code to your own.
The Inline code from this page does not show the form on its own: add data-container="#slotsy-widget" inside its <script> tag, or use Popup.
Preview has two tabs: Live opens your real widget or any studio page (the Page list, Open in new tab); Mockup is a drawing that shows the colour and theme before you save.
What the client goes through
- Choose a service — services with duration and price.
- A day in the calendar, then Choose a time: any staff member, or a specific one under "or select a specialist" (not shown in solo mode). Confirm.
- Your Details: first and last name, email, phone, notes. If the service can be paid online and there is more than one way, the client chooses how to pay here.
- Above the button: the Cancellation block with your cut-off and your text, "Your details are processed by…" with your company name, empty newsletter boxes (Slotsy, and yours if you offer it) and either "By confirming, you accept the cancellation rules above." or the box "I accept the cancellation rules above." If you ask the client to confirm the rules, the button stays inactive until the box is ticked, and the server refuses a booking without it.
- Confirm Booking. If the booking needs your approval, the button reads Send request, a line says how many hours you have to answer, and the result is "Booking Created!" instead of "Booking Confirmed!".
Card payment happens inside the widget. BLIK, Przelewy24 and other redirect methods open the payment page in the whole window, and after paying the client lands on your studio page in Slotsy, not back on your site. If a service is paid only online and you have no online payment set up, the client sees a message to contact the studio.
Tip: After saving, open your site in a private window and make one test booking through the widget, then cancel it in the admin.
What the widget does not do
The client books one service at a time and does not sign in. Buying a membership is not offered in the widget; it stays on your studio page.
