Translations

Updated September 19, 2026

Provide multi-language content for your services and company information so customers see your booking page in their preferred language.

Overview

Slotsy supports multiple languages on customer-facing pages. You can translate service names, descriptions, and company information to reach a wider audience.

When a customer visits your booking page, Slotsy automatically selects the best language based on their browser settings. Customers can also switch languages manually.

Translating Service Names and Descriptions

  1. Go to Services and select a service
  2. Scroll to the Translations section
  3. For each language, enter the translated name and description
  4. Click Save

Example for a "Haircut" service:

LanguageNameDescription
EnglishHaircutClassic haircut with styling
UkrainianСтрижкаКласична стрижка з укладкою
PolishStrzyżenieKlasyczne strzyżenie z modelowaniem

If a translation is not provided for a language, the default (original) text is displayed.

Translating Company Description

  1. Go to Settings > Company Info
  2. Scroll to the Translations section
  3. Enter translations for the company description
  4. Click Save

Your company name and address typically stay the same across languages, but the description can be tailored for each audience.

Supported Languages

Slotsy customer-facing pages support:

  • English (EN)
  • Ukrainian (UK)
  • Polish (PL)

The admin panel language is set separately in your Profile settings.

How Language Is Detected

When a customer opens your booking page, the language is selected in this order:

  1. URL parameter — if a language code is in the URL (e.g., ?lang=uk)
  2. Browser language — the customer's browser language preference
  3. Default — English is used as the fallback

Tip: When sharing your booking link on social media for a specific audience, add the language parameter to the URL. For example: https://app.slotsy.com/your-slug?lang=uk for Ukrainian customers.

Best Practices

  • Translate all services — incomplete translations look unprofessional
  • Keep translations consistent — use the same terminology across all services
  • Review translations — machine-translated text may need manual adjustment
  • Update translations when you change the original content

Tip: If most of your customers speak one language, focus on that translation first. You can always add more languages later.
