A deposit holds the time, the rest is paid at the visit
For a long or expensive service the client pays part of the price online when they book, and the rest at the studio. The deposit goes to your own Stripe and comes back on its own when the client cancels in time.
No credit card required
Full prepayment puts people off, paying on site protects nothing
Problem
Asking for the whole price of a four-hour service up front loses clients at the booking step. Without any payment, a no-show leaves an empty chair and materials bought for one person.
Solution
In Slotsy you set a deposit for a service, as a percentage or a fixed amount. The client pays it by card, BLIK or Przelewy24 and accepts the deposit terms before paying. The rest is paid at the studio, and the fees are taken only from the deposit.
How the deposit works
Set it once per service
Set the deposit on the service
In the service form, under Payment, choose Deposit online and enter a percentage (1–99) or a fixed amount below the price. The form shows "Now 30 EUR, at the studio 70 EUR". You can let the client pay it all at once instead.
The client pays part and accepts the terms
On your booking page and in the widget on your website the client sees the deposit and the rest, ticks the deposit terms and pays. The consent is stored with its text, date and IP.
The rest at the visit
The booking shows what was paid and what is due at the studio. When the client pays, click Rest received.
Why a deposit in Slotsy
Protection from no-shows without scaring clients off
A lower barrier than full prepayment
The client pays 30% of a 450 zł service, not all of it. If you allow it, they can still pay everything at once.
Fees only on the deposit
The Slotsy commission of your plan and the Stripe fee are taken only from what was paid online. The rest paid at the studio has no commission.
Refunds without your work
The deposit returns to the card on its own when the client cancels in time, or when you cancel or decline the booking.
Consent you can show
The client cannot book without ticking the deposit terms, and the studio cannot switch that box off. The text, date and IP are stored with each booking.
Simple, transparent pricing
Between paid plans the features are identical. You only pay for team size.
Same features on every paid plan
Start, Team and Business differ in team size, locations, SMS credits, the fee on online payments and support — never in what the product can do. Free is the same product: online payments, the booking widget, reminders, integrations, dashboard analytics, digital products and booking page design all work on it.

The online payment fee is Slotsy's share of each payment your clients make online. Stripe's own processing fee is charged separately, from your Stripe account.
Digital products: Slotsy keeps 5% of each sale, on any plan.
