Set your company timezone so all bookings, schedules, and working hours are displayed correctly for you and your customers.

Why Timezone Matters

Your company timezone is the foundation for all time-related features in Slotsy:

• Working hours are defined in your company timezone
• Bookings are created and displayed in your company timezone
• Staff schedules follow the company timezone
• Notifications include times in the relevant timezone

Setting the correct timezone ensures that time slots, availability, and appointment times are accurate for everyone.

Setting Your Timezone

1. Go to Settings > Timezone
2. Select your timezone from the dropdown (e.g., Europe/Kyiv, Europe/Warsaw)
3. Click Save

The dropdown includes all standard IANA timezones, grouped by region for easy browsing.

Tip: Search by city name to quickly find your timezone. For example, type "Kyiv" to find Europe/Kyiv.

How Timezone Affects the Customer View

When customers visit your booking page, Slotsy automatically handles timezone conversion:

• Available time slots are shown in the customer's local timezone
• The booking confirmation displays the time in both the customer's and company's timezone
• Email reminders include the appointment time in the customer's timezone

This means a customer in London booking at your Kyiv salon sees times adjusted by the correct offset — no manual conversion needed.

Changing Your Timezone

You can change your timezone at any time, but do so with caution:

1. Go to Settings > Timezone
2. Select the new timezone
3. Click Save

What happens when you change timezone:

• All future bookings display correctly in the new timezone
• Existing bookings keep their original absolute time — only the displayed time shifts
• Working hours remain the same numbers but now refer to the new timezone

Tip: If you relocate your business to a different timezone, update this setting immediately. Review your working hours afterward to make sure they still reflect your actual schedule.
