Referral payouts allow Slotsy to automatically send commission payments to referral partners via Stripe Connect. Partners connect their own Stripe Express accounts and receive transfers directly.
How It Works
When a referral partner earns a commission (e.g., a referred business makes its first payment), the platform processes a payout:
- Partner connects Stripe — completes Express onboarding (KYC verification)
- Commission earned — the referral system calculates the reward amount
- Payout processed — Slotsy creates a Stripe Transfer to the partner's account
- Funds arrive — Stripe deposits funds to the partner's bank account
Partner Onboarding
Referral partners connect their Stripe accounts through the Express onboarding flow:

| 1. Start | Partner clicks "Connect Stripe" in their referral dashboard |
| 2. Stripe Onboarding | Redirected to Stripe to verify identity and bank details |
| 3. Review | Stripe reviews the information (usually instant) |
| 4. Verified | Account status changes to "verified", payouts enabled |
Tip: Partners can check their account status and access the Stripe dashboard at any time from their referral settings.
Payout Statuses
| Status | Description |
|---|---|
| Processing | Transfer created in Stripe, awaiting completion |
| Completed | Funds successfully transferred to partner's account |
| Failed | Transfer failed (e.g., account issue) |
| Reversed | Transfer was reversed after completion |
Account Statuses
| Status | Description |
|---|---|
| Pending | Onboarding started but not completed |
| Verified | KYC passed, payouts enabled |
| Restricted | Details submitted but payouts not yet enabled |
| Disabled | Account deactivated |
Supported Countries
Stripe Express is available in all countries where Stripe operates, including Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, Hungary, and Romania.
Disconnecting
A partner can disconnect their Stripe account at any time:
- Pending payouts will still be processed
- Future payouts will be held until a new account is connected
- The partner can reconnect at any time
Tip: Encourage partners to complete onboarding promptly — payouts cannot be processed until the account is verified.
