When creating or editing a location, the system automatically validates addresses using geocoding to ensure accuracy and set map coordinates.
City Field
The City field is required when creating a new location. Enter the city name where your branch is located (e.g., "Krakow", "Kyiv", "Warsaw").
Tip: Entering the city helps the system find your address more accurately.
Changing the City Later
You can change the city of an existing location at any time: open the location, edit the City field, click outside it so the address is re-validated, and save. The saved value is exactly what you typed.
If you clear the field and save, the system determines the city from the address itself.
How Address Validation Works
- Enter the City name
- Enter the Address (street, building number)
- When you leave the address field, the system automatically validates it
Validation Results
| Status | What It Means |
|---|---|
| Spinner | Address is being checked |
| Green checkmark | Address found — coordinates set automatically |
| Yellow warning | Address not found — check spelling or try suggestions |
Address Suggestions
If your address is not found, the system may suggest similar addresses. Click on any suggestion to use it — the system will re-validate automatically.
Coordinates
Map coordinates (latitude/longitude) are set automatically when a valid address is found. You no longer need to enter them manually.
Tips
- Make sure to enter the correct city before entering the address
- Use the official street name for best results
- If validation fails, try a simpler address format (street + number)
- Coordinates are optional — the form can be saved even without successful validation
