My calendar

Connect your own Google Calendar to Slotsy. The hours you are busy there — a doctor's appointment, school pick-up, a second job — are not offered to clients, and your Slotsy bookings appear in your calendar.

Where to find it

RoleWhere
Staff, manager, receptionistMy calendar in the menu
Owner, adminSettings → Integrations, the My calendar block at the top

Each person connects their own calendar; nobody can connect it for you. Other staff cannot disconnect it — only you, or the studio's owner and admins.

Connecting Google

  1. Open My calendar and click Connect on the Google card
  2. Sign in to the Google account whose calendar you use
  3. Google shows "Google hasn't verified this app" while Google is reviewing Slotsy. Click Advanced → Go to slotsy.io
  4. Allow access to your calendar
  5. You return to Slotsy with "Integration connected successfully". The card shows Connected and your Google email

If you click Cancel on Google's screen, Slotsy says "Access was not allowed on the provider's screen — nothing was connected." Nothing changes; you can try again any time.

Outlook shows Not available yet: it cannot be connected at the moment.

Two switches

SwitchWhat it doesDefault
Close my busy hoursEvents in your calendar close those hours on the booking page and in the widget, including "any master" and reschedulingOff
Add my bookings to the calendarEach new booking appears as an event with the service name and time; a moved booking moves, a cancelled one disappearsOn

Busy time is refreshed every 10 minutes, not instantly. An event you add now closes the hour within ten minutes.

Tip: Turn on Close my busy hours right after connecting — until you do, Slotsy does not read your calendar at all.

What Slotsy sees

Only the start and end time of events in your primary calendar for the next 60 days, and whether the event marks you as busy (an event set to "Free" in Google does not close anything). Titles, descriptions, places and guests are never read. Details: privacy policy, Google Calendar data.

In the studio calendar

The owner and admins see your busy time as a grey band Busy in own calendar in your column, without the event's name. Clients cannot take that time, but the studio can still book you by hand through New booking.

If the calendar stops answering

If you remove Slotsy's access in your Google Account, or Google stops accepting it, your hours open again for clients. You, the owner, admins and managers get a notification "Calendar disconnected: your name". The card shows Expired with Reconnect.

Disconnecting

Click Disconnect on the card and confirm. Slotsy deletes the busy times it kept and gives up its access to your calendar. Events Slotsy already added stay in your calendar.
