Online Meetings (Virtual Services)

Services in Slotsy.io can be offered in three location modes: offline (in-person), online (virtual), or hybrid (both options available).

Setting Up an Online Service
- Go to Services in the admin panel
- Create a new service or edit an existing one
- Select Location type: Online or Hybrid
- Choose Meeting provider: Custom URL
- Paste your permanent meeting link (e.g., Zoom PMI, Google Meet, Whereby)
- Save the service
How Meeting URLs Work
When a customer books an online or hybrid service:
- The meeting URL from the service is automatically copied to the booking
- The meeting link appears in all booking confirmation and reminder emails
- Both the customer and staff can see the meeting link
Email Notifications
All booking emails (confirmation, reminder, rescheduled, cancelled) include a Meeting Link section when the booking has an associated meeting URL. The link is displayed as a clickable "Join Meeting" button.
Supported Providers (Phase 1)
Currently, only Custom URL is supported — you paste a static meeting link that is reused for all bookings of this service.
Tip: Use a Personal Meeting Room link (e.g., Zoom PMI) so the same URL works for all bookings.
Future phases will add automatic meeting generation via Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams APIs.
