Location Management

Updated September 19, 2026

Locations let you manage multiple offices, branches, or venues from a single Slotsy account.

When You Need Locations

If your business operates from more than one address, locations keep everything organized:

  • Beauty salon with two branches across town
  • Consulting firm with offices in different cities
  • Fitness studio with a main gym and a satellite studio

Even if you have a single address, a default location is created automatically when you set up your company.

Location List

The Locations page shows all your locations in a table:

ColumnDescription
NameLocation name (e.g., "Downtown Branch")
AddressFull street address
PhoneContact phone number
StaffNumber of assigned staff members
ServicesNumber of available services
StatusActive or inactive

Creating a Location

  1. Go to Settings > Locations
  2. Click + New Location
  3. Fill in the details:
FieldRequiredDescription
NameYesLocation name visible to customers
AddressYesFull address (shown on booking page and maps)
PhoneNoContact phone for this location
EmailNoContact email for this location
DescriptionNoShort note about the location (parking info, landmarks)
  1. Click Save

Tip: Enter the full street address (e.g., "Krakow, ul. Florianska 12, Poland"). The system will automatically determine GPS coordinates from the address, so the location appears correctly on the interactive map. If you need precise positioning, you can override coordinates manually via the API.

Tip: Add helpful details in the description, such as "Free parking behind the building" or "2nd floor, entrance from Main Street."

Setting Working Hours

Each location can have its own working schedule:

  1. Open the location
  2. Go to the Working Hours tab
  3. Set opening and closing times for each day of the week
  4. Toggle days off by unchecking them
  5. Click Save

Location hours override the company-level schedule. Staff can only be booked during location working hours.

Assigning Staff to Locations

  1. Open the location
  2. Go to the Staff tab
  3. Check the staff members who work at this location
  4. Click Save

A staff member can be assigned to multiple locations. Their availability is calculated per-location based on that location's working hours.

Assigning Services to Locations

  1. Open the location
  2. Go to the Services tab
  3. Check the services offered at this location
  4. Click Save

Tip: Not every location needs to offer every service. Assign only the services that are actually available at each branch.

Default Location

One location is always marked as the default. This is the location pre-selected on the customer booking page. To change it:

  1. Open the location you want as default
  2. Click Set as Default

Editing and Deactivating Locations

  • Edit: Click on a location, modify any field, click Save Changes
  • Deactivate: Toggle the status to Inactive — the location is hidden from customers, but existing bookings are preserved

Reactivate at any time by toggling back to Active.

How Locations Appear to Customers

On the public booking page, customers see a location selector at the top:

  1. Customer selects a location
  2. Available services for that location are displayed
  3. Available staff at that location are shown
  4. Time slots reflect that location's working hours

If you have only one active location, the selector is hidden and the location is auto-selected.

How Many Locations Your Plan Includes

The Plan usage card in the sidebar shows how many of them you are using. When the last one is taken, Add Location turns into a disabled button with a note explaining the limit and a link to the plans — rather than a form that would refuse to save.

Need one more than your plan includes? The Extra Location add-on adds a single location for €10/month without changing your plan.

Tip: Downgrading never deletes a location. If you drop to a plan with a lower limit, everything you already created keeps working — you simply cannot add a new one until you upgrade again.
